Menswear Wishlist

Now that exams are over, and I’ll hopefully be able to work more and be less of a broke university student, it’s time to think/dream about the things I might like to buy, and write them down before I go spend my money on something else first. I’m a still a fashion rookie, but hey, at least I’m trying!

• Navy blazer
• Navy suit
• Chinos, in khaki or tan or navy
• Pair of simple shoes for summer. Leaning towards a pair of white Vans.
• Basketball shoes, fo’ the courts
• Brown dress shoes. Ideally more comfortable than my cheap and feet-destroying black wingtips
• More plain tees.
• OBCDs
• More casual shirts
• Some shorts for the blistering southern hemisphere summer, ones that come to above the knees. Time to retire ‘dem jorts.
• A slim tie and a black knit tie
• A watch. More subtle and classy than my old ones. Maybe even just a plain leather strap.

Not really fashion, but I also need to buy some new cologne. My signature scent has been Diesel Fuel for Life for men, but I’ve just run out. I’ve been using it for a while now, plus it has strong associations to my ex which isn’t really a big deal, but nonetheless I’d like to try something new instead. So, any good recommendations for a new cologne?
